The Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents Tavern Day: a hands-on history experience for families and the general public!
Fun for the whole family: explore Stacy’s Tavern Museum, live animals, kids crafts, rope making, log sawing, story telling, candle dipping corn shelling, kraut-making, pioneer games and toys, beekeeper, 1840′s school room, laundry demonstration, costumed presenters, and our Bake Sale!
Chrysanthemum plants will be for sale (while supplies last) – 2 gallon pots for $12 each.
Purchase discounted tickets in advance at the Glen Ellyn Historical Society member rate until Sep 29 at the following Glen Ellyn businesses: Stacy’s Corners Store(800 N. Main St), McChesney Miller Grocery Store (400 Crescent Blvd) and Just the Book Store (475 Main St).

Adults: $6 $8
Children(3–17): $3 $4
Special Family Pkg: $20 member/advance $25 at the gate
Tavern Day will be held at Historic Stacy’s Tavern Museum, in Glen Ellyn’s History Park at Main Street & Geneva Road.
